Marcus and Lena Hale are a sculptor duo based in Las Vegas. Working mainly with reclaimed metal and stone, their collaborative pieces explore the contrast between industrial strength and human fragility.
For us, sculpture is a conversation — between materials, between ideas, and often between each other. Marcus brings an engineer’s precision; Lena brings a poet’s sense of form. Together, we find balance in the clash.
We start with what others overlook: discarded metal, weathered stone, or fragments from demolition sites. Each piece carries a past, and we treat it like memory — reshaping, welding, and layering until it feels alive again. Our latest series, Common Ground, looks at connection through shared weight and resistance.
We don’t chase perfection. We chase emotion. When someone pauses to touch the surface of our work, feeling its roughness and warmth, that moment of connection is the real art.
