These spicy shrimp tacos are quick to make and full of flavor, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 8 small corn tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp hot sauce

  • ½ lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.

  3. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, hot sauce, and lime juice to make the sauce.

  4. Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.

  5. Assemble tacos with cabbage, shrimp, and a drizzle of sauce.

  6. Serve with extra lime wedges.
