Elliot Crane is a soul-pop singer from Detroit, blending classic Motown influences with modern R&B polish. His voice moves from tender falsetto to grit-edged belts, carrying stories of resilience, love, and second chances.

“I sing to keep stories alive,” Elliot says. “Every melody is a conversation—with my past, with the people I’ve loved, with the city that raised me.” His album, “Neon Chapel,” features warm analog textures, gospel-inflected harmonies, and hooks that linger long after the last note.

A recent song, “Paper Windows,” started with a box of old letters from his grandmother. “There were notes about everyday miracles—bus rides, borrowed umbrellas, café strangers. I wrote a chorus that feels like opening a window on a rainy day.”

Live, Elliot’s shows feel intimate even in big rooms. He invites the audience into the narrative—call-and-response bridges, stripped-back piano sections, and moments where voices mingle into one. “When people sing with me, the room transforms,” he says. “That’s the gift music gives: it turns what’s personal into something we can hold together.
