Kiana Brooks is a Chicago-based DJ specializing in house music—warm, deep grooves with uplifting, vocal-forward energy. Her sets move from soulful rhythms to late-night jackin’ house, always centered on community and connection.
“House is architecture for emotion,” Kiana says. “I build a night like a story—foundation, lift, release. The right bassline can turn a room into a heartbeat.” Her latest EP, “Pulse Lines,” leans into lush chords, swung percussion, and vocal snippets that feel both intimate and expansive.
Recently, she found inspiration on a sunrise run by Lake Michigan—watching the city wake, trains hum, and runners fall into step. “I sketched ‘Night Bloom’ that morning—steady pads, a low, patient groove, and a chorus that rises like the sun.”
Live, Kiana reads the room with precision, layering percussion and harmonies to shape momentum. “My goal is a dancefloor that feels safe, inclusive, and electric. When the crowd breathes together on the drop, that’s the magic—I want people to leave lighter than they arrived.”
